Board of Directors

GEIVC has a board of directors consisting of 16 members. Each member possesses an expertise in the areas of Venture Capital, Law, Accounting, Private Equity, Management, Human Resources, Banking, Economics, Science and Real Estate. Many of the board members are capital investors or instrumental in the raising of funds for various projects. Many of the board members have active roles and sit on boards of other successful companies. They are a vibrant and active board who is very interested in the future success of GEIVC. The chairman is the majority shareholder of GEIVC, however they believe that the Chief Executive Officer position is most important for many reasons. The CEO creates and implements strategy, handles most of the public relations, oversees all operations throughout the world, oversees investor relations and inspires the future vision of the firm. The board is very aware that this position requires an extremely multi talented person who must perform at his or her best while inspiring others. Therefore, GEIVC has added into the charter that the CEO position be carefully scrutinized every year and the position itself be subject to a vote. The board has the power to analyze the CEO position every 12 months, and if necessary make a replacement. This additive to the corporate charter of GEIVC is another way that they are highly committed to all of the investors.
